CAD Drafter

Job Title: Drafter Job Description We are seeking a talented Drafter to join our team, focusing on electrical drafting using AutoCAD for new substation projects, upgraded substations, or maintenance tasks with substations. Responsibilities * Utilize Autodesk AutoCAD for electrical drafting tasks. * Work on new substation projects, upgrades, and maintenance tasks. * Collaborate with team members to ensure project specifications are met. * Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders. * Participate in the design process and make efforts to grow beyond CAD work. Essential Skills * Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD. * 0 to 5 years of drafting experience. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to ask questions and be a proactive learner. * Computer and technology savvy. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Experience in consulting or utility industries is a plus. * Knowledge of other design software such as MicroStation or Inventor is beneficial. * Desire to learn and understand the reasoning behind design decisions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
