About the Role
The Company is in search of a visionary VP of Software Engineering to spearhead the evolution of its global engineering organization. This role is not traditional; the successful candidate will be tasked with leading the transformation from conventional development models to AI-native, highly automated, and agent-driven engineering environments. Key responsibilities include developing and executing a strategy for autonomous software delivery, scaling engineering productivity through automated workflows, and evaluating and optimizing AI tooling and platforms. The VP will also be instrumental in guiding the organization through significant changes in software design, development, testing, and deployment, and will be expected to partner with executive leadership to ensure the successful adoption of AI-first engineering practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern software engineering, cloud platforms, and developer productivity, with a proven track record of implementing AI-powered workflows in production environments. Experience in leading organizational change and technology adoption across large, globally distributed engineering teams is essential. The role requires a leader who can drive both technical and organizational transformation, establish best practices, and ensure the organization remains at the forefront of modern software engineering. Strategic innovation, including the assessment of emerging AI technologies for competitive advantage, is also a key focus.
