Intellectual Property Legal Assistant

Maschoff Brennan is an intellectual property and complex litigation law firm with offices in Utah, California and New York. We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join us in our Salt Lake City office. The successful candidate will support Attorneys with various patent prosecution items including electronically file patent applications, office action responses, issue fees, etc., and prepare correspondence to clients, maintain accurate file records, and other miscellaneous administrative tasks. Successful candidates must be self-starters, organized, problem solvers, computer savvy, and highly proficient in Microsoft applications including MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Attention to detail is not an option, but a must, while efficiently managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The minimum requirements for this position are a high school education plus two years of law office experience or two years of post-secondary education. IP experience preferred but not required.
