Benefits Account Manager (Large Group)

Position Overview This role is for a Benefits Account Manager in the Employee Benefits Insurance team, based in downtown San Antonio, TX. The position is hybrid after onboarding (3 days office, 2 days remote). Responsibilities Serve benefits clients with groups of 100+ members, including client companies and their employees. Collaborate with Account Managers, Account Executives, Account Coordinators, Marketing Analysts, and consultants/sales producers to deliver a client experience that meets the agency’s quality and service standards. Lead pre‑renewal, renewal, and enrollment processes, and act as a resource for clients on daily service needs, market conditions, and regulatory changes. Leverage experience with self‑funded plans (preferred). Provide excellent customer service with strong verbal and written communication skills. Utilize computer applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe. Experience with BenefitPoint ImageRight is helpful. Qualifications & Requirements 3+ years of employee benefits experience, including group medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and ancillary products. High school diploma or equivalent. Bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful. Must obtain a Texas General Lines Life & Health insurance license within sixty days of employment and maintain it throughout employment.
