We offer a comprehensive training program designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in this specialty and caring for patients in our food allergy treatment program. This training is designed to ensure you are fully equipped to handle food allergy cases with confidence.We are currently seeking a dynamic, empathetic and flexible Provider (NP or PA) that will enjoy working in a food allergy treatment clinic. They must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Complete all assigned patient visit preparation and clarifications accurately and timely according to the prep scheduleEnsure accurate chart preparation and maintain a strong understanding of all appointment types scheduled.Demonstrate accurate preparation of chartsDemonstrate and maintain a strong understanding of Challenge VisitsMaintain a physical presence in the clinic during clinic hoursBe available to serve as back up in emergency situationsManage and stabilize grade 1, 2, 3 reactionsAnswer, triage and escalate questions, concerns, and reactionsDemonstrate strong understanding TIP and provide TIP based educationEnsure they are keeping up with up to date TIP information and protocolsOn-Call Coverage:Provider on call or Call assist/support will rotate into the Command CenterCollaborate with Escalation leads/ Logistics MD to ensure necessary follow upComplete escalation case write ups and present during daily Escalation Rounds; complete follow ups/resolution to patient cases presentedAnswer, triage and escalate questions, concerns, and reactionsComplete rotating call requirements (POC: Monday-Friday 7 am- 5pm, Call Assist/Support: 8 am-5pm)All calls require physical presence in the Call Center from 8am to 5pm, excluding weekendsManage and stabilize grade 1, 2, 3 reactionsExcellence:Provide excellent customer service through effective communication and collaboration with all patients, visitors, and employeesProvide accurate information to patient families with regards to individualized plans and current conditionTreat all patients and parents with respect and strive to connect them to resources to resolve their questionsLead a positive working relationship with staff and patientsQuickly adapt and integrate practice changes as neededFunction on all platforms and technology systems associated with the jobIntegrate constructive feedback from leaders and peersProvide clear hand off to colleagues with accurate information on patient statusPromptly address performance concerns with Pod Lead and/or Provider manager(s).Foster an environment for learning and continued improvementOther duties as assigned.Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant SchoolCurrent California NP and RN or PA LicenseNational Provider Identification Number (NPI)PA or NP Certifications, preferredBLS and PALS CertificationFamiliarity with medications and dosages, knowledge on how to draw medications/reconstitution, and IV placement required.Proficiency with office software applications, such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite, and previous EMR experienceTeam mentality and positive working attitudeStrong verbal/written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment that requires strong multi-tasking skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailInterest in travel to affiliate clinics as additional supportEmployee Benefits:We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, 401(k) with employer match, medical, dental, and vision insurance, generous paid time off, company-paid holidays, and sponsored employee events.
