OT - Occupational Therapist

Occupational TherapistThis is a 13-week contract position.Day shift, 5x8.0 hours.The Occupational Therapist plans, organizes, develops, administers, directs, and supervises OT treatment in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and guidelines while promoting patient and employee safety.Responsibilities:Assess patients' level of functioning upon physician orders and implement appropriate treatment plans.Participate in the interdisciplinary team process and in discharge planning, including patient/family education and adaptive equipment recommendations.Complete appropriate documentation according to department policy and procedures.Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and students in the application of therapy techniques.Maintain communication with patients and/or family members at their level of understanding.Collaborate with team members to ensure quality patient care and document training provided.Manage proper issue or recommendation of equipment and document training/use with patients and/or family members.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Must hold a valid, current State license.BLS certification is required.A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.Previous inpatient acute care experience is preferred.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and more.Onboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on care.Clinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate.401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contribution.Recruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialty.Extras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and more.We're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
