Student Assistant - Training & Education

Position Description This student assistant position will provide administrative support to the Training & Education department to assist with course enrollments, reporting, course completion tracking, and similar administrative functions. Major/Essential Functions Process training enrollment requests within established service timelines; verify information, document actions, and elevate incomplete or unusual requests as needed. Generate, review, and organize training completion reports as requested, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timely delivery. Provide administrative support for the Training & Education and Human Resources teams, including document preparation, data entry, information gathering, filing, and material organization. Occasional Duties Assist the Building Coordinator with receiving, organizing, and distributing breakroom and common-area supplies as needed. Complete routine supply checks and restocking activities as requested. Required Qualifications An undergraduate student of the TTU System enrolled in at least six hours. Preferred Qualifications Coursework or experience in Curriculum and Instruction, Training and Development, Human Resources, or a related field. Six months of administrative, clerical, data-entry, customer service, or related experience. Experience using Microsoft Excel to sort, filter, format, and review data. Experience entering, reviewing, or maintaining records for accuracy and completeness. Experience generating or organizing reports using spreadsheets, databases, or other information systems. Experience using Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Copilot.
