Work Environment\n

As a licensed therapist at Better Movement, you will work remotely but remain an integral part of a supportive outpatient office team. Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will be tasked with providing exemplary therapeutic care to couples and families. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health and family dynamics.
\n
• Developing tailored treatment plans that consider the unique needs of each family member.
\n
• Providing therapy to couples both together and individually, focusing on communication and conflict resolution.
\n
• Addressing a variety of issues including but not limited to alcohol abuse, domestic conflicts, grief, and loss.
\n
• Supporting families in navigating challenges related to blended families, job stress, and medical issues.
\n
• Facilitating group sessions and workshops aimed at strengthening familial relationships.
\n
• Documenting client progress and maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with diverse populations, including both adult and adolescent clients. Your expertise in family dynamics will allow you to cater to a wide array of issues. Typical clients may deal with separation/divorce adjustments, communication difficulties, mother/daughter conflicts, and other significant life transitions. Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Strong foundational understanding of therapeutic techniques relevant to family and relationship counseling.

• Proficiency in using digital tools for therapy and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with the following experience will be given preference:

• At least two years of direct experience in providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, our benefits package includes:
