Position Summary As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for creating an environment that provides the best shopping experience for soccer players, coaches, referees, and enthusiasts. You will ensure the achievement of financial objectives—including sales, payroll, and store metrics—through successful leadership of a valued, challenged, and retained team. The role supports store field personnel, operations, inventory management, and financial goals and requires teamwork, a passion for soccer, and strong leadership. Accountabilities Assure achievement of financial objectives, including sales, payroll, and metrics. Ensure effective implementation and execution of company plans and strategies. Create an in‑store shopping experience that exceeds customer expectations and is personalized with excellence. Implement consistent operations and merchandising initiatives to create a unique experience. Develop, retain, and lead high‑caliber talent that prioritizes customer service. Maintain proper store compliance regarding safety, policies, procedures, and standards. Essential Functions Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with leadership to achieve priorities and ensure alignment across store personnel. Operational Excellence: Execute strategic initiatives, focusing on measurable action steps and positive impact. Communication & Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships to promote alignment and share operational challenges with the DSM. Team Leadership & Development: Lead development, motivation, and direction of the store team through onboarding, training, and ongoing feedback. Other Responsibilities: Serve as a thought partner to the DSM, provide insights, champion organization culture and values, and promote teamwork, innovation, and accountability. Qualifications 3+ years of management experience. College degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Strong relationship‑building skills within the store team and with corporate partners. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage, motivate and communicate at all levels. Ability to train, coach, and develop people. Problem‑solving, decision‑making, and strong working knowledge of retail procedures. Influence at all levels and drive behavior change effectively.
