IT Support Specialist Help Desk (US)

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Specialist / Help Desk to join our team. The role provides technical assistance troubleshoots hardware and software issues and ensures smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key responsibilities

Provide technical support to employees for hardware software and network-related issues.
Troubleshoot desktops laptops printers operating systems and application problems.
Install configure and maintain computer systems and IT equipment.
Assist users with Windows macOS email VPN and connectivity issues.
Manage support tickets document incidents and track resolutions.
Support user account creation password resets and access management.

Required qualifications

Bachelors degree or diploma in IT Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
05 years of experience providing technical support.
Proficiency with Windows macOS and basic computer hardware.
Understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP DNS and DHCP.
Experience using ticketing tools like ServiceNow Jira Service Management or Zendesk.

Nice to have

Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
Familiarity with IT security best practices.
Experience with Microsoft 365 and Outlook.

Required Skills:

Windows OS macOS Computer hardware Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP DNS DHCP) Microsoft 365 Ticketing tools (ServiceNow Jira Zendesk) Active Directory Troubleshooting Verbal and written communication
