IT Support Specialist

Salary: $85,000 - 95,000 per year Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience as an IT Technician
• Associate or bachelors degree, or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience with a range of computer systems and networks
• Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office/Office 365, Active Directory, Windows, iOS/Android, PowerShell, low-voltage and PoE principles, IP addressing, and RJ45 termination
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and collaboratively as part of a team, using discretion and judgment
• Ability to stand for a full workday; bend, stoop, and reach throughout the day; and lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• A+ and Network+ certifications are advantageous; NVR/DVR and Copilot 365 experience are also beneficial

• Travel to sites throughout New York City to diagnose and resolve IT issues, carrying equipment as needed
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk support
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, remote connectivity, and wireless door systems
• Install, maintain, and support security cameras, electronic smart locks, desktop computers, and network equipment
• Run and terminate Cat5e cabling
• Provide hardware and software support in a Windows-based environment
• Climb ladders to troubleshoot cameras and wireless access points
• Work with vendors to resolve larger issues
• Support and work with Intune MDM
