Elite Women's Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough women's health assessments that include detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and necessary screenings to establish a baseline for care.
• Diagnose and manage common women's health concerns such as reproductive issues, menstrual disorders, and menopause symptoms, creating effective treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Provide family planning services, offering contraceptive counseling and advice, along with the prescription and fitting of contraceptive methods.
• Perform routine gynecological exams, including Pap smears and breast checks, in accordance with recommended guidelines to promote preventive health care.
• Manage comprehensive prenatal care, including patient education on pregnancy, monitoring fetal health, and collaborating with obstetricians when necessary.
• Conduct educational sessions on sexual and reproductive health, focusing on issues like STD prevention, fertility, and overall wellness.
• Order, interpret, and discuss diagnostic tests (e.g., ultrasounds, lab tests) with patients, ensuring they understand results and implications for their health.
• Prescribe medications and oversee follow-up care, carefully monitoring patient responses and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Document encounters accurately in our electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of patient information.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives that aim to enhance the standards of care we deliver and to improve patient outcomes.
• Stay abreast of current women's health best practices and advancements, engaging in professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge base.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily includes women of diverse ages and backgrounds who seek specialized healthcare related to reproductive health, menopausal issues, pregnancy, and general gynecological care. You will play a pivotal role in addressing their healthcare needs, fostering long-term relationships that enhance their health journeys and empower them with knowledge and resources.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.
• A current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas.
• Board certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner is essential.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in women's health, ideally within a primary care or OB/GYN setting, is required.
• Strong foundation in issues related to gynecology, prenatal care, and menopausal management.
• Proficient in conducting gynecological exams and familiar with the use of relevant medical software and EHR systems.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of relevant experience is required, candidates with more extensive backgrounds in women's health, including experience with LGBTQIA+ health concerns and adolescent health, will be given preference. Familiarity with community resources and support networks for women’s health issues will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
