Financial Controller

CivicMinds, Inc

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all accounting and financial operations.
  • Manage financial reporting, monthly close, and financial statement preparation.
  • Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to leadership.
  • Manage banking relationships, borrowing base calculations, and covenant compliance.
  • Lead internal and external audits, inventory reviews, and cycle counts.
  • Evaluate capital expenditures and ROI analysis.
  • Optimize ERP systems and financial processes.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting and purchasing personnel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience 5+ years
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance leader.
  • Strong background in manufacturing and job cost accounting.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of audits, banking relationships, and financial compliance.
  • ERP system experience (Epicor preferred).
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
