Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in the Emergency Room/Emergency Department for a travel assignment in the bustling community of Alexandria, VA. This role is set in a 27-bed community ER/stroke center, known for its dynamic and hardworking team, catering to both adult and pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED

• Provide care in a 27-bed community adult and pediatric ER/stroke center
• Manage patient care with a staffing ratio of 4:1, stretching to 5:1 during peak times
• Work collaboratively within a phenomenal team to deliver comprehensive care
• Utilize Epic software for patient records and treatment coordination
• Adhere to no on-call requirements, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED

• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience
• Willingness to work variable weekends (5-6 shifts per schedule) and scheduled holidays (1 major, 1 minor)
• Proficiency in Epic software
