Project Manager

The Project Manager will lead and oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals, timelines, and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation, manufacturing, or capital projects and possess exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. This role requires direct engagement with customers, cross-functional teams, and vendors to ensure project success. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, execute, and manage projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Serve as the primary point of contact for our customers throughout the project lifecycle, managing expectations and ensuring customer satisfaction. Coordinate efforts of cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, purchasing, and production, to meet project objectives. Oversee project risk management, contract changes, and financial aspects, including payments and change orders. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Provide technical leadership and on-site project management support during installation, startup, and commissioning as needed. Lead and mentor project team members, fostering collaboration and efficiency. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field required. Over 3 years of experience in project management within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial automation required. Experience with capital projects, plant builds, or large-scale industrial implementations required. PMP certification or equivalent preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, decision-making and verbal and written communication skills required. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar) required. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and motion control components preferred. Ability to read mechanical drawings, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, and electrical schematics preferred. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies preferred. Familiarity with contract negotiation and vendor management strongly encouraged. Successful experience in customer relationship management and project financial oversight preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
