Support Agent

WheelHouse IT, the largest Managed Service Provider in South Florida, is seeking a passionate and driven Support Agent to join our dynamic team.Position Overview:The Support Agent is the first point of contact for clients seeking technical assistance. This role focuses on delivering timely, courteous, and effective support via phone, chat, and onsite visits. The Support Agent works closely with the broader support team by gathering detailed information, triaging issues, and assisting with basic hardware tasks, while adhering to security and compliance standards.Key Responsibilities:Answer incoming support calls promptly and professionally.Respond to client support requests via chat in a timely manner.Gather accurate and detailed information to facilitate efficient issue resolution by the support team.Triage support requests, performing initial troubleshooting and resolving straightforward issues where possible.Travel onsite to client offices as needed to address in-person support requests.Assist in-house on the workbench with physical hardware setup, repairs, and inventory management.Technical Competencies:Understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements relevant to client environments.Awareness of cybersecurity best practices and security policies.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365 fundamentals.Basic knowledge of SharePoint Online essentials and Office 365 administration.Strong communication fundamentals, including email etiquette and writing skills.Entry-level role suitable for candidates with foundational IT knowledge and a strong customer service orientation.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to gather detailed technical information and accurately document issues.Willingness to travel to client sites for onsite support.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow security and compliance protocols.If you are a student or recent graduate who is passionate about technology and excited to start a career in IT, apply now and we will be in touch.
