Assignment Details
• Start: As soon as credentialed
• Duration: Ongoing through 2027
• Setting: Emergency department
• Patient volume: Approximately 8 Äì14 patients per shift
• Cases: Primarily medical with low trauma and medium-to-high acuity
• No call
• Weekend and holiday availability required
• Full-time physicians are preferred over multiple providers offering limited shifts
Schedule
• Facility is seeking approximately 15 shifts per month
• Providers must be flexible to work varied shifts based on departmental needs
• Mid shift: 11:00 a.m. Äì8:00 p.m.
• Weekday day shift: 7:00 a.m. Äì4:00 p.m.
• Weekend day shift: 7:00 a.m. Äì3:00 p.m.
• Weekday evening shift: 2:00 p.m. Äì11:00 p.m.
• Weekend evening shift: 3:00 p.m. Äì11:00 p.m.
• Night shifts may include 6:00 p.m. Äì3:00 a.m. or 10:00 p.m. Äì7:00 a.m.

Clinical Responsibilities
• Evaluate, treat, and determine disposition for emergency department patients
• Manage a broad spectrum of emergency medical conditions
• Coordinate with consultants, hospitalists, and other care teams
• Ensure effective handoffs and clinical communication
• Participate in quality-improvement initiatives
Support
• Emergency department RNs
• Collaborative attending and consulting teams
Requirements
• ABEM/AOBEM board certified or board eligible
• Emergency Medicine residency training required
• Family Medicine-boarded physicians are not eligible
• Minimum of two years of Emergency Medicine experience
• Active Washington medical license ÄîIMLC is not accepted
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Active DEA
• Clean malpractice, licensing, and background history
• Must confirm willingness to work varied shifts
• Specific availability must be provided at presentation
