Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
• Previous experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred
• Excellent assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Proficiency with respiratory therapy modalities (ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, oxygen therapy, nebulized medications)
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement appropriate respiratory therapy interventions for patients of all ages
• Administer oxygen and aerosol treatments, as well as manage ventilators and airway devices
• Perform regular patient assessments and monitor responses to therapy
• Participate in emergency situations (e.g., Code Blue) with airway management responsibilities
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust patient care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments and at-home care techniques
• Maintain accurate records of therapy administered and patient progress

$1,895 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
