Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Current state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
• Strong clinical competence in respiratory care, diagnostics, and therapy
• Recent experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications are a plus

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed respiratory care treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosolized medication delivery, and ventilator support
• Assess and monitor patients' respiratory status, adjusting therapy as needed
• Respond to emergent situations and provide advanced airway management
• Accurately record and report patient progress to the healthcare team
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and respiratory therapies
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and provide input on patient care plans
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure optimal performance

$1,895 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
