Radiology - Mammography

Mammography Tech

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule from 07:00 to 15:00.

The Mammography Technician will provide exceptional patient care and perform various mammography procedures, including diagnostic and screening mammograms, stereotactic biopsies, and needle localizations. This position requires proficiency in using Hologic units and handling both 2D and 3D mammography techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mammographic imaging procedures on patients.
• Ensure high-quality images are produced for diagnostic purposes.
• Assist in procedures such as fine needle aspirations and stereotactic biopsies.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during all procedures.
• Collaborate with onsite radiologists and healthcare team members.

Required Experience / Certifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technician.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
