Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring at least 1 year of travel experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Job Details

• High-acuity 30-bed Stepdown Intermediate Care/PCU unit,
• Cares for complex patients including post open heart, post TAVR, post pacemaker, drip titrations, chest tubes, and BiPAP cases,
• 13-week assignment with shifts scheduled 06:45-19:15,
• 36-48 hour contracts acceptable,
• Every other weekend required,

Job Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required, with current Nursys and primary source verification within 30 days of start,
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required,
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required,
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required,

Additional Information

• Provide advanced nursing care to high-acuity stepdown/PCU patients recovering from cardiac procedures and requiring close monitoring,
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by location,
• Must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address,
• COVID vaccination is not required,
• Candidates should begin discussing extension with their manager 45 days prior to assignment end date
