Medical Surgical Unit - Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 3 years.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Alabama license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Community Health Systems (CHS).

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you’re applying to.

Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit. If multiple shifts are posted, only apply to your preferred shift. Permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility.

Unit Details: Provides delegated direct patient care under the direction of an RN with shift accountability. Responsibilities may include physical examination and data collection, ADLs, patient education, medication administration, peripheral IV therapy, discharge planning, implementation of physician orders, documentation, and direction/supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

7 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
