Overview A law firm seeks a Commercial and Business Litigation Associate in Albany, NY. The role offers hybrid flexibility, combining in-office and remote work based on business needs. The successful candidate will join a diverse litigation practice, handling a variety of commercial and business litigation matters. Responsibilities Collaborate with team members and clients to develop litigation strategies. Assist with and manage cases throughout the litigation process. Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs. Manage all phases of discovery, including e-discovery and depositions. Participate in court appearances and trials. Qualifications 2-8 years of law firm experience in a litigation-based practice or equivalent. Strong writing and analytical skills. Sound judgment and effective case management abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a mentoring team environment. Education Bachelor's degree. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Certifications Bar admittance in New York.
