Fund Accounting Manager

This role is dedicated to the firm's flagship fund and offers significant visibility into fund accounting and financial reporting. The team manages a highly active investment vehicle with many transactions each quarter, handling all capital contributions and distributions internally. They're looking for someone with strong fund accounting experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a complex, transaction-heavy environment. The position offers excellent work-life balance with typical hours of 35–40 per week outside of quarter-end and year-end, a collaborative team environment, and a competitive compensation. Oversee the preparation and review of fund-level financial statements, NAV calculations, and capital account statements Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Review and approve capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations Ensure compliance with partnership agreements, PPMs, and applicable accounting standards Coordinate with external auditors, tax preparers, and fund administrators on audits, tax filings (K-1s), and regulatory reporting Supervise, train, and mentor fund accounting staff; review their work for accuracy and completeness Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and process documentation Support ad hoc projects such as system implementations, process improvements, and special reporting requests Qualifications: CPA Required 5-8 years of experience preferably with public accounting and Fund Accounting Experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
