Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification, with Multi-Categorical endorsement
• Knowledge and experience working with middle school or upper elementary students
• Ability to adapt and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to a range of exceptionalities
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and dynamic classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to students with varying disabilities in both push-in and pull-out settings
• Develop, implement, and manage IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to ensure student success
• Support students' academic, social, and behavioral growth, promoting positive outcomes in all areas
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
