Hospice CNA-PRN

This job was posted by For more information, please see: Augments the service of the licensed nurse by providing basic patient care services to the hospice patient. Assists in the care of the hospice patient including activities of daily living (ADLs) such as, but not limited to, personal hygiene and grooming, bathing, feeding, repositioning, toileting, transfers and ambulation; household services essential to promote a clean, safe environment. Accountable for reporting and recording tasks performed as well as any noticed change in the patients condition. Must be able to relate well/ work closely with patients, their families and coworkers. Obtain and record patient data such as, but not limited to, vital signs, catheter care, pain levels, Report findings outside parameters as noted on the assignment sheet or urgent/emergent conditions. Completes appropriate records as required. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss and coordinate the patient plan of care. Requires creativity and ability to problem solve in the home environment. Participate in required staff development activities and performance reviews. Requirements High school graduate preferred. Completion of state approved nursing assistant training program/current Board of Registry status required. Completed and cleared Idaho state background check. Current BLS certification.
