When the current physician retires, you will take full responsibility of a turnkey clinic, including an experienced staff, modern equipment, and efficient office systems. Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Care: Provide medical care and assessments to pediatric patients within your scope of practice and AAP guidelines.
• Patient Continuity: Manage the gradual transition of patient relationships from the retiring physician to yourself.
• Documentation: Record accurate clinical data in the EMR system and close patient charts within company guidelines.
• Collaboration: Communicate with the Medical Director as needed and direct the clinic team to support efficient patient care.
• Compliance: Maintain regulatory requirements, office policies, procedures, and federal/state healthcare standards.
• Professionalism: Deliver friendly, competent, and professional care that meets the communication needs of medical staff, patients, and families.

Requirements

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Residency: Completed an accredited Pediatric Residency program.
• Licensure: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics with the ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in Louisiana.
• Local Connection: Strong ties to Louisiana or status as an LSU graduate is highly preferred.
• Credentials: Maintain all required licensures, certifications, and state/federal regulatory standards.
