Ochsner Children's is seeking a board certified/board eligible General Pediatrician to join its expanding practice including a pediatric multi-specialty center in Baton Rouge, LA. The Baton Rouge region is the capital city of Louisiana and has a revitalized downtown area that includes live music, museums, art galleries and top-notch food scenes. We are the only multi-specialty group practice in Baton Rouge that is fully integrated with a hospital facility, Ochsner Medical Center Baton Rouge. Our facilities are focused on making healthcare accessible by offering digital medicine programs, virtual visits and extended hours.

Ochsner Children's includes:

• More than 85 primary care pediatricians and 290+ subspecialists across 27 locations in Louisiana and Mississippi.
• The region's leader in complex pediatric care, with advanced programs in:
• Congenital heart surgery and cardiac transplantation
• Liver and bone marrow transplantation
• Hematology-Oncology and AYA Oncology
• Advanced GI and Hepatology
• A comprehensive surgical subspecialty group, including craniofacial and advanced spine surgery
• The Gulf South's only comprehensive developmental pediatrics center

Facilities & Growth

• 67-bed Level IV NICU
• 14-bed PICU and 12-bed CVICU
• 4-bed NAEC-accredited Level IV Pediatric EMU
• 44-bed Pediatric Acute Care Unit with a dedicated Pediatric ED
• 24/7 neonatal and pediatric transport team with ground, rotary, and fixed-wing aircraft support
• Future growth: construction underway for a new 5-story Children's Hospital, opening in late 2027/early 2028 and planned expansion of neonatal services

• ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program, plus the Ochsner Pediatric Residency Program.
