• Shift: Clinic: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Hospital rotation every 5-6 weeks
• Hours/week: Approximately 40 hours/week
• Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• License/Certs: Valid Louisiana medical license, active supervising license, added as a locum tenens supervising physician for Physician Assistants
• Experience: Prior experience in non-invasive cardiology preferred but not required

What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient care and conduct hospital rounds during assigned rotation periods
• Manage outpatient cardiology patients in a clinic setting, seeing patients Monday through Friday
• Perform consultations and read diagnostic studies, including echocardiograms and stress tests
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during hospital rounds and in clinic
• Communicate follow-up plans and care instructions with patients and referring providers
• Review diagnostic imaging and testing results, ensuring proper follow-up and coordination
• Support care coordination efforts and patient follow-up during clinic and hospital visits

What You Need

• Valid medical license in Louisiana, with active supervising privileges
• Prior experience in non-invasive cardiology preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently in both hospital and outpatient settings
