Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner About the job: The APRN - NP Specialty for Palliative Care provides acute healthcare services for specialty health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. This APRN will manage the care of palliative, cancer patients. They will see patients in clinic and round on patients in the Mount Carmel Hospitals. The primary shift will be Day, Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with an occasional Saturday shift. *May be able to accommodate 4, 10-hour shifts during the week as well* What you need: Education: Masters required in Science, Nursing or Specialty field. Graduate of an Advanced Practitioner program Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in designated specialty required. BLS provider certification required Holds a DEA license for controlled substances or ability to obtain as required All qualifications above are subject to grandfathering by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
