Travel RN - Med/Surg - 7A - 7P Shift

Location: Thornton, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 7A - 7P

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Travel RN specialized in Medical/Surgical care. This role is within a high-energy acute care unit, focusing on delivering top-tier patient care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for medical patients, including those post-operative from radial cardiac catheterizations.
• Administer various drips, including heparin.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
• Coordinate with a team of healthcare professionals, including Charge RNs and PCTs, to ensure effective patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1-year current Med/Surg acute care hospital experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
