This position is ideal for a licensed psychologist who enjoys providing high-quality outpatient psychotherapy in a collaborative private-practice setting. Responsibilities Provide individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults Conduct initial clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with other clinicians and members of our multidisciplinary team Communicate professionally with clients, families, schools, and other providers as appropriate Participate in staff meetings and clinical consultation as needed Maintain ethical and professional standards consistent with New York State licensing requirements Qualifications Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology Current New York State license as a psychologist Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills Professional, dependable, and able to manage an outpatient caseload independently Experience working with children, adolescents, families, and/or adults preferred Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary practice Experience in private practice is a plus What We Offer Established private-practice setting with administrative support Client referrals to assist with building and maintaining a caseload Collaborative and supportive clinical environment Flexible scheduling Opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and presenting concerns Clinical consultation and peer support Opportunities for long-term growth within the practice Position Location: Plainview, NY Position Type: Licensed Psychologist - Ph.D. or Psy.D.
