Temporary Opportunity with Contract-to-Hire Potential

Adecco is seeking an experienced Fiscal Coordinator to support daily accounting, purchasing, and financial operations for a professional organization in Williamsburg, VA. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in accounting, accounts payable, bookkeeping, financial administration, or procurement who excel in a fast-paced environment and have a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders, invoices, and departmental expenditures.
• Reconcile financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Track budgets and monitor spending across multiple programs.
• Coordinate purchasing activities, including supplies, events, and vendor orders.
• Manage invoice documentation and ensure compliance with financial procedures.
• Assist with vendor payments and resolve purchasing or payment discrepancies.
• Maintain organized financial files and supporting documentation.
• Respond to inquiries related to purchasing and financial processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, purchasing, or financial administration experience.
• Strong experience with reconciliations, invoice processing, and expense tracking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a high volume of transactions with accuracy.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with procurement or vendor management systems.
• Previous experience in higher education, nonprofit, government, or administrative environments.

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
