Accounting Specialist

We are partnering with a large, stable organization in the Denver/Aurora area seeking an Accounting Specialist to join its accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an early-career accounting professional or recent graduate looking to build hands-on experience within a larger organization.

This position will support a variety of day-to-day accounting functions, including:
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Invoice review and vendor inquiries
- Bank deposits and reconciliations
- Researching payment discrepancies
- Aging account follow-up
- Account reconciliations
- Month-end close support
- Maintaining accounting reports, spreadsheets, and files
- Additional accounting and reporting projects as needed
What they're looking for:
- Degree preferred; open to recent graduates
- Some accounting experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- SAP experience is a plus, including SAP S/4HANA exposure
- Dependable, organized, and willing to learn
Compensation: $25–$26/hour
Schedule: 100% onsite in the Denver/Aurora area xhyhwjd
Hours: Approximately 40 hours/week with flexible start/end times; some additional time may be needed around month-end close
