You will serve as a key technical expert, designing and optimizing production systems utilizing Fanuc robotics, industrial vision systems, and specialized IT network infrastructure. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week. #LI-Hybrid#GME#LI-MH5What you'll do...Lead the assembly and machining controls engineering deliverables for PTO, FAE and BME programs, from simultaneous engineering through program launch for all Global Manufacturing sites.Implement and apply standard software and hardware controls architectures across all programs/plants, following the PTO and GVOSS controls specification.Ensure the identification and capture of lessons learned along with their application to new programs, as well as the impact to existing strategies and standards.Lead simultaneous engineering meetings with Tier I suppliers to orchestrate controls program reviews with all interested parties.Participate in management program reviews and represent the controls organization in commodity discussions.Drive the controls organization to resolve issues, including feasibility, timing, cost and workload.Handle current scope program responsibilities.Deliver new model program work for various Powertrain, Battery and Final Assembly programs supporting and working in either SE MI, Ohio or Windsor, ONT.Travel up to 80% during peak program times.Work off shift, as the need arises, during peak program install and launch times.Full timePosting Date: 2026-07-22
