Quality Control Technician - Heavy Civil/Highway ConstructionTrumbull -Brayman Joint Venture Montgomery Lock & Dam Project - Monaca, PennsylvaniaTrumbull Corporation is seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician to support the Montgomery Lock & Dam Project in Monaca, Pennsylvania, a major U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) infrastructure project located on the Ohio River navigation system with an estimated 8-year duration.This is a long-term, full-time position responsible for field testing and documentation for a variety of construction disciplines. This position offers stable, long-term employment on a high-profile federal infrastructure project supporting the U.S. inland waterway system.Schedule & CompensationThe typical work schedule is Monday through Friday - approximately 40 hours per week, with additional overtime available based on project needs.Compensation includes:Competitive Salary with annual bonusMedical Insurance / Prescription Drug PlanDental Insurance and Vision Insurance401k Pension Plan with company match and profit sharingShort and Long-Term Disability InsurancePaid vacation and holidays---Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for with quality control field testing and documentation. This includes a variety of construction disciplines like concrete, soils, welding, or maintenance of traffic.Responsibilities include:Active involvement in project safety programsAssists project QC staff and project supervisionWorks toward obtaining testing certificationsEffectively communicates with the project owner(s)Represent the company with the owner's inspectorsTravels to jobsites as neededPerforms other related duties as assigned---Qualifications & Education:Experience in the inspection and testing of various construction disciplines like concrete, soils, welding, or maintenance of traffic requiredExperience in the construction industry with completion of at least one internship with a heavy civil, foundation, or steel erection contractor or equivalent work experienceACI Concrete Field Testing Technicians - Grade I with 5 years of experienceACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician - Grade I with 5 years of experienceICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector CertificateACI Concrete Construction Special InspectorProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to new challenges.Must be willing and able to travel or relocate as necessary for projects.Must be willing to work day or night shift pending on the project needs.---Work EnvironmentWork is performed on and around water within an active inland river navigation pool supporting heavy civil construction operations.
