Medical Assistant III (Certified) - MPG Internal Medicine Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM MPG is seeking an experienced, patient-focused Medical Assistant III to join our Internal Medicine/Primary Care team. This advanced-level Medical Assistant role provides high-level clinical and administrative support to physicians and care teams in a fast-paced ambulatory care setting. The ideal candidate is a dependable team player with strong clinical skills, excellent customer service, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. This position works independently on more complex clinical assignments while supporting patient flow, documentation quality, care coordination, and quality improvement initiatives. ‎ Perform advanced patient rooming, intake assessments, vital signs, documentation, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing. Assist physicians and licensed providers during exams, procedures, and patient care activities. Care Coordination & Quality Initiatives Support quality improvement projects, patient outreach efforts, and workflow enhancements. Help improve patient access, patient satisfaction, and clinical performance outcomes. Resolve routine workflow, equipment, supply, and documentation issues that impact clinic operations. Assist with onboarding and mentoring less experienced Medical Assistants. Promote teamwork and best practices across the clinic. Maintain infection control, patient safety, HIPAA compliance, and clinic readiness standards. High School Diploma or GED. Medical Assistant Certification. 3 years of Medical Assistant experience . Experience in a Primary Care or Internal Medicine setting preferred. Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Strong customer service and communication skills. 3-5 years of ambulatory care, medical assisting, or patient care support experience.
