The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Charlotte that are seeking First Article Inspectors. Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed First Article Inspections (FAI) according to AS9102 standards.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Utilize a wide range of precision measuring equipment and tools.
• Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly in FAI reports.
• Identify and document non-conformances, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain calibration records for inspection equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the inspection process.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 3+ years experience in manufacturing quality inspection, particularly First Article Inspection.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Strong knowledge of metrology tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) and their proper use.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformances accurately.
• Familiarity with AS9102 or equivalent FAI reporting standards.
