Medicare Licensed Sales AgentWe are seeking a Medicare Licensed Sales Agent to join our growing team at Avant Specialty Benefits as we expand into the Medicare and Senior Health market through our employer and broker partnerships. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional to build expertise in Medicare sales while working in a supportive, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate has insurance sales experience and is eager to specialize in helping seniors navigate their Medicare options.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct consultative Medicare sales through inbound and outbound callsEducate consumers on Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D plan optionsGuide prospects through the enrollment process with patience and expertiseMeet and exceed individual sales targets and performance metricsMaintain accurate and detailed records of all client interactions in CRM systemFollow up with prospects and provide ongoing customer service as neededComply with all Medicare regulations and company policiesProfessional DevelopmentParticipate in ongoing training programs on Medicare products and regulationsStay current on plan changes, enrollment periods, and industry updatesCollaborate with team members to share insights and best practicesAttend team meetings and training sessionsWork closely with Team Lead for guidance and mentorshipRequired QualificationsActive Life & Health Insurance License (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)Minimum 1+ years of insurance or sales experience (Medicare experience preferred but not required)Strong verbal communication and active listening skillsCustomer-focused approach with genuine desire to help othersAbility to learn complex product information quicklyComfortable working in a fast-paced, phone-based sales environmentBasic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systemsPreferred QualificationsPrevious Medicare or health insurance sales experienceExperience in direct-to-consumer salesKnowledge of Medicare basics (Parts A, B, C, D)Bilingual capabilities (Spanish preferred)High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferredAbout Avant Specialty BenefitsAs a subsidiary of Holmes Murphy, Avant Specialty Benefits focuses on ancillary benefits procurement and employee communication design and delivery.
