Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule
Days: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Assignment Details
Patient population: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
Visits per day: ~210
Rooms: 86 | Beds: 115

Requirements
- License: Ohio RN license required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI required
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years Emergency Room nursing experience
- Preferred: Experience in Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified facilities

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in a high-volume emergency department.
- Perform triage and assess patients' conditions to prioritize care.
- Administer emergency medications, IV vasopressors, and manage ventilated patients.
- Conduct 12-lead EKG acquisition and interpret dysrhythmias.
- Assist in trauma care, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care.
- Ensure proper line care, administration of blood products, and procedural sedation.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Vaccine requirements: COVID-19 vaccine NOT required; Flu vaccine REQUIRED (medical exemptions only)
- References: 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be a manager/director or formal supervisor (no coworker references)
- Parking options: Various permits available with different access conditions.
- RTO required with submission.
