Questions for Candidates Have you served as a CEO, COO, or Hospital Administrator with full operational responsibility in an inpatient behavioral health or psychiatric hospital? Have you participated and been the point person in a Joint Commission survey in a behavioral health hospital setting? Have you had full P and L responsibility for a hospital with an annual operating budget of at least $20 million? Have you led QAPI, patient-safety initiatives, or corrective action plans resulting from regulatory findings in a behavioral health hospital? Have you directly hired, developed, and retained clinical and medical staff, such as psychiatrists, nursing leaders, therapists, in a hospital environment? Purpose Statement The Chief Executive Officer shall serve as the executive officer with day-to-day responsibility for the management and operation of the hospital. Required Skills BA required. 5 years’ experience in senior leadership or CEO role in a behavioral health, acute care, and/or managed care environment or successful completion of CEO training program. Ability to lead successful licensure, accreditation, and compliance efforts in a behavioral health facility. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of facility administration and clinical operations. Strong working knowledge of financial management and business development processes.
