IDD Adult Day Services – Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) (Job Id: 1342) Location: Wichita, KS # of Openings: 1 Hiring Bonus: $250 Schedule: Full‑time, Monday‑Friday 7:00‑3:00 Hourly Pay: $16.50 – $17.50 We are seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help lead center‑based and community‑based activities and support the persons we serve in this semi‑independent program. In this role, you will assist with morning duties at a residential program and transport clients in a company vehicle to our Day Services clubhouse. While at the Day Services clubhouse, you will engage with and support clients in activities – including art classes, field trips, and more – then transport clients back to their residential program. You will build lasting relationships through community outings, functional activities, and daily companionship. Entry‑Level Qualifications At least 18 years of age Must pass a criminal background check Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record Previous caregiving, teaching, or direct support experience, ideally in a day services, residential, or therapeutic setting Preferred Qualifications Experience working with semi‑independent adult clients Ability to model and teach appropriate client interactions Ability to give and accept feedback effectively Modeling a high level of energy, excellence, and accountability to staff Assisting persons served to increase their independence, learn appropriate behaviors and skills, and maintain health/hygiene/grooming Facilitating safe and fun community outings Assisting RISE Coordinator with administrative duties Benefits Unique and traditional schedules (3, 4, and 5 day workweeks) Weekly and on‑demand pay Management opportunities Paid training Health care benefits (health, dental, vision) Matching retirement plan Paid time off #J-18808-Ljbffr GoodLife Innovations
