Site Engineer

Site Engineer – Infrastructure – Tuddenham (A47) Location – Tuddenham, Norfolk Purpose of the role As a Site Engineer, you will be joining us in delivering major improvements to the A47 in Norwich for our client National Highways. This is a project that will cut congestion, improve safety, and boost growth across the region. What you will be doing Accurately establish levels, survey control, and set out works in line with contract drawings Maintain precise records, diaries, and quality documentation in compliance with legal and company requirements Support production of ITPs, task briefings, programmes, and as‑built records Carry out as‑built surveys, material reconciliations, and ensure surveying equipment is calibrated Coordinate setting out activities and provide clear information to operatives and subcontractors Resolve technical issues and implement new processes, techniques, and innovations on site Promote safe working practices, environmental compliance, and company procedures Deliver works defect‑free, ensuring timely handover and quality completion Mentor and support junior/graduate engineers while encouraging best practice Protect company property, minimise waste, and contribute to creating a safe, efficient site About you Work safely and interpret data and drawings accurately. Proficient in standard setting‑out techniques, including Level, EDM, and GPS. Flexible work attitude with strong problem‑solving skills. HND or degree, with relevant CSCS card and experience. Office 365 expertise and relevant field experience.
