Position Summary
TLC Auto & Truck Center is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to work directly with the CEO.
This role is responsible for keeping the business organized, ensuring projects get completed, following up with team members, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, comfortable holding people accountable, and enjoys building systems and improving operations.
This is not a traditional administrative assistant role. It is an operational leadership support position.
Responsibilities
Executive Support

• Manage the CEO’s task list and priorities.
• Organize meetings and follow up on action items.
• Keep projects moving to completion.
• Prepare agendas and meeting notes.
• Coordinate calendars and important deadlines.

Operations

• Track company initiatives and ensure accountability.
• Update and maintain SOPs and company documentation.
• Assist with implementation of new processes.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare weekly scorecards.
• Identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.

Human Resources

• Coordinate hiring activities.
• Schedule interviews and onboarding.
• Maintain employee files and training records.
• Track performance review deadlines.
• Help organize company meetings and training.

Financial & Administrative

• Assist with reporting and dashboards.
• Coordinate with accounting, payroll, and vendors.
• Organize contracts, insurance, and licenses.
• Track recurring business expenses and subscriptions.

Project Management
Examples include:

• Equipment purchases
• Facility improvements
• Software implementation
• Marketing initiatives
• Gaining New Fleet accounts
• Vendor coordination
• Special projects assigned by the CEO

Qualifications

• Extremely organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong follow-through.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Able to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience with project management software is a plus.
• Automotive industry experience is helpful but not required.

• Managers receive consistent follow-up and accountability.
• The leadership team spends less time reacting and more time executing.

Compensation
Part-time position (20–25 hours per week).
Compensation based on experience and qualifications.
