Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist credentials required (current and in good standing)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Proficient in respiratory therapy modalities and treatment plans for diverse patient populations
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• BLS certification (active and current); ACLS preferred
• Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Previous experience in acute care strongly preferred

• Assess patients and implement prescribed respiratory therapy plans
• Deliver aerosol, oxygen, and other therapeutic treatments as indicated
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care as needed
• Operate and maintain ventilators, oxygen equipment, and related technology
• Respond to emergency situations and actively participate in rapid response teams
• Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory care and equipment use
• Ensure safety standards and infection control protocols are maintained
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
