Health Advocates Network is currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to work at a facility in Fulton, MO. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $50 / hour *W2

Shift Details:

• Requested services will be performed between 8:00am and 4:00pm Monday through Friday, up to 16 hours per week.
• One day of New Employee Orientation training will be required.
• We would like service to start as soon as possible.

Duties:

• Conducting physical and psychological assessments of clients and developing or following a treatment plan.
• Assessing home and work environments of clients and deciding what adjustments are needed.
• Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities.
• Developing physical rehabilitation programs to help clients regain lost skills.
• Preparing clients for a return to work.
• Educating caregivers and family members of clients on patient care.
• Evaluating results and progress of occupational therapy on clients.
• Maintaining professional knowledge and the technical progress in order to provide clients with the best treatment program available.
• Complying with federal, state, and local certification requirements.
• Evaluating patient condition regarding physical and basic mental health.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least one year (12 months) of experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Must have up to date credentials in the state of MO
• A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Familiarity with medical terminology
