SUMMARY: Reporting to the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer; Clinical Projects Manager The RN will conduct chart and compliance audits, monitor quality measures and outcomes, manage incident reporting and risk management, participate in policy development, lead QI meetings, and report findings to leadership and the QI/Compliance Committee. We are looking for an RN who has hands-on QI/QA experience and is comfortable with medical records, compliance, auditing, and presenting quality findings.

DUTIES: Risk Management: 

Complete annual risk management training. 

Report to the board annually covering key goals tracked by the individual departments, areas of continued/mitigated risk and ongoing performance. 

Summarize quarterly Incident reports, Complaints and Article 31 Incidents as presented to the Safety Committee. Quality Improvement: 

Work in consultation with the Quality Improvement Team to audit medical records. 

Participate with developing and revising Policy and Procedure manuals for the Emergency Preparedness and Safety programs at \

Audit charts for valid release of information, correct VFC eligibility and appropriate email addresses obtained at registration time; report findings.

Coordinate review and update of Forms on a yearly basis and as needed.

Encourage staff to practice the reporting of incidents in a timely fashion to promote quality improvement and safety in the work place. |

Arrange and monitor quarterly testing for fire drills and security drills.

Conduct monthly audits reporting results to appropriate Directors, and the QI/ Compliance Committee. Lead monthly QI meetings and ensures all TFH departments report measures and outcomes on a quarterly basis.

Monitor completion of QI assessments and Quarterly reporting of outcomes.

QUALIFICATION: Registered Nurse with 2 yrs QI experience from from a clinic or hospital setting, management skills (served in a manager/supervisor capacity as Quality or previously) Knowledge and experience with Medical Records and HIPM compliance, knowledge of vaccine programs.
