Family Nurse Practitioner

Family Nurse Practitioner Location: TX-FORT WORTH, 1650 W ROSEDALE ST, STE 220 Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday; 8am - 6pm Schedule: Full-Time On-site: This role requires employees to work from the posted location full time, enabling consistent face-to‑face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. This policy promotes an environment built on in‑person interaction, communication, and immediate support. Responsibilities Administers ordered therapies according to prescriber orders, facility protocols, INS standards, and company policy and procedures. Completes admission process as directed by the Center Director. Performs physical assessment on each patient when warranted, including new consults as indicated by the patient diagnosis. Documents all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record. Reports significant changes or observations to the Center Director and follows up on any identified problems. Communicates effectively with other members of the IV team regarding patient status and observations. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times by abiding by HIPAA laws and regulations. Evaluates the patient’s response to therapy and documents the findings in the medical record. Educates patients and/or family members regarding the therapy plan. Participates in the Quality Improvement program. Ensures all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate, and up to date prior to treatment. Provides clinical coverage for nurse practitioners on PTO/LOA and may support new market launches. May travel to other Paragon clinics to support coverage as needed. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing (MS) and at least 2 years of nursing experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Current, active, valid, and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the applicable state. Active, current, and valid Family Nurse Practitioner certification. Experience with intravenous therapy (IV) required. Multi‑state licensure required if providing services in multiple states. Completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccination or signed waiver. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences Ability to obtain credentialing with major payors in the market, including Medicare/Medicaid. Experience with IV insertion and maintenance strongly preferred. Experience with PORT, PICC, and peripheral lines preferred. Infusion reaction management experience preferred. Titration experience preferred. Medication mixing and infusion experience preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
