Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Psychiatrist at MultiCare Health System!

Join the largest behavioral health organization in the South Puget Sound region at MultiCare Health System, where we’re seeking a talented and experienced psychiatrist to join our faculty and help develop our growing psychiatric inpatient services at Auburn Medical Center. With a 38-bed inpatient geropsych unit and a 20-bed general adult inpatient psychiatric unit, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the launch of a new psychiatry residency program (projected to begin in 2027). You will have the chance to shape and guide the future of psychiatric care while enjoying the benefits of working within a collaborative, supportive environment.

Position Details

Location: Auburn, WA
Practice: Inpatient geropsych and adult psychiatric units, faculty duties
Opportunity: Participate in developing a new psychiatry residency program
Compensation: Competitive salary, starting range $277,936 - $308,818

Position Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Completion of ACGME or AOA accredited psychiatry residency
Current ABPN board certification in psychiatry
Completion of a geriatric psychiatry fellowship (preferred)
At least one year of experience providing mental health services to the geriatric population
Prior teaching experience is a plus
DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
