BAS Technician

E-logic is seeking a highly skilled, certified BAS Technician to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot the government facility's continuous, 24/7/365 building automation framework. You will serve as the primary on-site expert supervising the Johnson Controls Metasys system and automated animal bedding/feed systems (DUCON) from National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences during core business hours (8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday), while providing vital support for network engines, controller replacement, and emergency troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities Manage, configure, and maintain the Johnson Controls Metasys Building Automation System (BAS) and the DUCON distribution system Monitor and execute daily network engine uploads (NAE, NCE, NIE, SNE, etc.) and run specialized room environment reports. Modify and create graphical interfaces and automated system reports upon request. Conduct logic programming (LCT), database management, and trend analysis. Provide necessary 24/7/365 emergency technical response on-site within 2 hours of notification when required. Qualifications & Requirements Proof of an active Johnson Controls (or OEM) Metasys Certification is strictly required. Must possess verified access to the JCI Field Services Center (FSC) for advanced escalation tier-support. Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience working directly with JCI equipment. Proof of successful completion of OSHA 10‑hour training (General Industry or Construction outreach card issued within the last 5 years). Flexible to handle rotating emergency calls or occasional after‑hours shifts. Important Notice This role is part of a proposal for Internal Revenue Services.
